Accidental - Drowning. Schoolmaster in charge of a group of students who were canoeing on the river Great Ouse near to Kempston Mill. A number of students got into difficulty while in the water and the deceased became trapped in the turbulent waters under the river weir as he attempted to assist his pupils to safety.
