- Production dateFrom: 1800 To: 1800
- Scope and ContentThanks for venison. Comments regarding recent weather. John and Caroline Eliot are expected to visit before they go to the West. They have been delayed as Mrs Eliot is to perform the ceremony of presenting the colours of the Cirencester Volunteers instead of Mrs Wllia who has been taken ill. The ceremony was at Lord Bathursts park. Captain Cripps answered Mrs Eliot's address. Seeks advice from Lady Lucas regarding mourning, and asks how long she wore deep mourning for Lady Grey, and whether the whole lasted 6 months or a year. Inclides note of Caroline Eliots' address on a seperate sheet.
