- Scope and ContentA handwritten letter on Ampthill Rectory headed paper from Margaret Waddy (Rector Waddy's wife) to Honora Grimmer: "My dear Honora, And first may I ask permission to call you by your Christian name? I'm afraid I have sometime done so without asking! I am so glad that you think it will be a good idea to have all the Sunday School teachers up here on Tuesday January 8th and that you yourself will be able to come - for you are the most important of them all of course. I am beginning to feel so much stronger now that you need not worry on my account at all. I hope very soon to be able to get out again. It was so charming of you to bring me that lovely glass hyacinth and it is a constant delight. Thank you so very much for it and for your beautiful card. With every good wish for every blessing in the New Year - and much gratitude for all your kindness. Yours affectionately,"
