  • Scope and Content
Two handwritten letters from Muriel Parbury (nee Osborne) at 30 De Parys Avenue, Bedford to Honora Grimmer: (i) "My dear Nora, Thank you all so much for the nice card. It was so good of you to send it. I think I shall be back at Cubs the 1st week in April. Will you carry on till then. My doctor said I was not to go back till then. Yrs very sincerely, Muriel Parbury" (ii) "My dear Nora, I wish you could take the Cubs or Lily. I wonder if Mr Wagstaff would take them. He is next door to the Gardners. Do not write to Mr Scott, but I should like you to take them on - will you let me know. I don't think the Scouts are able to take them. I should like you and Lily to take them on. I don't think there is anybody in Ampthill who could take them. Will you see Mr Wagstaff. I should so like you to take them on till I am better. I think you and Lily could take them together. You are thorougly qualified to take them. Let me know - Can you find any one to take them - not the Scouts. Would Madge or Eva take them? Yrs sincerely, Muriel Parbury"
