- TitleExamination of Thomas Briden, Thrales End, Luton, farmer: a flitch of bacon lying in the bacon rack at his father's house was stolen during the night. Observing footmarks in the snow, he and the ploughman Thomas Munt traced them to the house of Mr William Davis of Falconer's Hall. They found the bacon in a manger and the horsekeeper said that the ploughman, Daniel Parrott, did not arrive home until the morning. He had been ploughman to Briden's father up to a fortnight previously.
