Information about the first post office in Totternhoe. Opened between 1865 to 1885 in a house now demolished. First run by Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Bates. It was also owned by Mr. John Siret (1922), Mrs. Winifred Heley (1958), Mrs. Dorothy Parradine, Mrs. Doreen Ash and Mrs. Joan Barnes (1980) and Mrs. Barbara Whitworth (1984).
