    1) The Reverend Thomas Sikes, Alfred Phippen Welch, Evan Owen Williams, Henry Blundell, Henry Brown (trustees of Robert Hibbert's almshouses) 2) Thomson Hankey, the rt hon. Reginald Hankey, Arthur Wellesley Peel of The Lodge Sandy speaker of the house of commons, Benjamin Bennett, the hon. Arthur John Edward Russell, Rev. Augustus Frederick Birch, Rev. John Heyrick Macaulay, Hugh Colin Smith (trustees of Mrs Frances Ashton's charity) Recites: agreement of 5 July 1882 and supplemental agreement of 1883 and that the almshouses have been built by 2) and the obligation to pay the sum of £400 acknowledged by 2). Now 1) conveys to 2) - piece or parcel of land in or adjoining Castle Street, Luton measuring in front and adjoining to the said road 179 feet and having a depth on each side of 66 feet upon which were formerly erected 12 cottages called Hibberts Almshouses three of which have been recently pulled down and the sites therefore with other parts of the said piece of land have been formed into a road called Hibbert Street together with all the remaining cottages Land shown in plan.
