Parties:
(i) Capel Lofft of Queen Square, Bloomsbury [Middlesex], esquire (eldest son and heir of Christopher Lofft);
(ii) Henry Emblin of Windsor [Berkshire], gentleman and Anne, his eldest daughter;
(iii) John Benyon of Bedford Row [Middlesex], gentleman; John Sims of Windsor, gentleman; James Dixwell of Saint Martin-in-the-Fields [Middlesex] - trustees
Reciting:
- intended marriage between (i) and Anne Emblin;
Operative Part:
- to make a jointure for Anne Emblin (i) released (a) to (iii)
Property:
(a) farmhouse in Arlesey with barn, outhouse etc belonging and all lands belonging formerly in the occupation of Thomas Botterel
Habendum:
- to (iii); to the use of (i) until the marriage; then to the use of (i) for his life; then to the use of Anne Emblin for her life; then to the use of any deed or will of Anne Emblin; then to the use of the first son of (i) begotten on the body of Anne Emblin; remainder to other sons; remainder to eldest daughter; remainder to other daughters; in default to the use of (i) for ever
