Scope and Content
- bequeathing £500 each to his daughters Anne and Mary as their portions;
- bequeathing use of all plate, brass, pewter, linen, woollen and household goods to his wife Anne for her life, remainder to their daughters equally;
- devising all real estate at Willian [Hertfordshire] to his son Edward Lawndey Godfrey;
- devising the property in AN38/5, AN38/7 to his son Edward Lawndey Godfrey;
- if his son omitted to pay legacies the real estate was to be devised to his daughters;
- bequeathing the residue of his personal estate to Edward Lawndey Godfrey whom he made sole executor;
