    Parties: (i) Rev John Alington, Rector of Little Barford, eldest son of Rev William Alington of Twywell [Northamptonshire by Sarah, his wife, deceased, Sarah being daughter of (iv); (ii) Eliza Frances Plumer, second daughter of Sir Thomas Plumer, Master of the Rolls; (iii) Sir Thomas Plumer; (iv) John Williamson; (v) Thomas Hall Plumer, esquire, eldest son of (iii) and an examiner in Chancery; Rev Charles Atmore Ogilvie MA and fellow of Balliol College, Oxford Reciting: - intended marriage between (i) and (ii); - AN29/85-86; - (iii) would give as (ii)’s portion £10,000 in 3% reduced bank annuities to be settled on trusts to rovide a present income for (i) and (ii) and to secure portions for the younger children (if any); - (iii) had transferred £10,000 in 3% reduced bank annuities into the joint names of (v) in the books of the Bank of England at the request of (i) Operative Part: - (i)-(v) agreed that the 3% reduced bank annuities were transferred to (v) in trust Habendum: - to (v) in trust for (iii) until the marriage; - to (v) to pay the annual dividend to (i) for the joint benefit and during the joint lives of (i) and (ii); - to (v) to pay the annual dividend to (ii) if she survived (i); - to (v) to pay the annual dividend to (i) if he survived (ii); - to (v) after the deaths of both (i) and (ii) to transfer the stock to all children of (i) and (ii) except the eldest son, in shares appointed by (i) or (ii), in default of which the transfer was to be to all children, except the eldest son, equally as tenants in common Endorsed appointment of 27 August 1853 Parties: (i) John Alington; (ii) Rev George Yalden, Rector of Twywell; (iii) Charles Atmore Ogilvie Reciting: - marriage of John Alington and Eliza Frances Plumer who had eight children: John (who died 23 December 1845 under 21); William, now eldest son; Frances, wife of (ii), Mary and Henry all of whom were 21 or over, Charles, Emily and Julius who were yet to do so; - Eliza Frances Alington died in June 1838 leaving her husband, (i), surviving her; - deed poll by (i) of 4 August 1845 previous to the marriage of Frances Alington and (ii) in which £1,666/13/4 in 3% reduced annuities (one sixth part of £10,000 above) was to be paid to Frances after (i)’s decease and which Frances immediately assigned to the trustees of her marriage settlement; - Thomas Hall Plumer died on 24 December 1852 and (i) wished to appoint (ii) in his place Operative Part: - (i) appointed (ii) a trustee of the marriage settlement of (i) and Eliza Frances Alington, deceased in place of Thomas Hall Plumer Witnesses: - William Hawkins of Hitchin [Hertfordshire]; - John Hawkins
