[Recites: A) Marriage Settlement (Lease and Release): dated 14, 15 July 1818, i) the said Marquess; ii) Lady Maria North; iii) Sir Charles Stuart and John, Lord Bishop of Lincoln (then Reverend John Kaye D.D., master of Christ College in University of Cambridge); iv) Frederick William, Earl of Bristol, and the Reverend Henry Lewis Hobart D.D.; v) Reverend Francis North and Right Honourable William Dundas; and vi) the said Frederick William, Earl of Bristol, and Thomas Francis Kennedy, esquire. On marriage of i) and ii). And B) Conveyances (Lease and Release) to uses of the said Settlement; dated respectively 7 and 8 February 1825, 4 and 5 March 1825, 1 and 2 December 1826, and 4 and 5 December 1826; whereby the hereditaments comprised in the said Settlement were vested in the said John, Lord Bishop of Lincoln (then Lord Bishop of Bristol) and William Stuart]. ... 2 roods 26 perches arable in Stopsley Common Field in the parish of Luton, now in occupation of Richard Stokes, bounded east and north by land of John Morris, esquire, and west and south by land of John Chase, esquire. Witnesses: William Freeman (butler to the Bishop of Lincoln), Thomas Collingdon (Luton Hoo), Luke Mountain, and Francis Parsson/Parson (Luton Hoo).
