Scope and Content
- devising all his real estate to his nephew William Moul of Strood [Kent], carpenter and joiner, eldest son of his sister Mary, wife of John Moul;
- bequeathing all his personal estate to William Moul subject to legacies;
- bequeathing annuity of £50 per annum to his sister Mary Moul comprising the annuities of £5 per annum given her by their brother Thomas and 50/- given by their aunt Elizabeth;
- bequeathing £50 annuity to his aunt Ann Rolfe;
- bequeathing £100 each to his nephew John Moul and nieces Lucy, Mary, Elizabeth and Sarah Moul when they became 21 and, until they, the interest on the legacies to be paid annually for their upkeep;
- bequeathing £10 each to his cousins Lucy Poole, widow, Catherine, wife of Thomas King and Lucy, wife of William Pedley;
- bequeathing £10 each to his cousins Richard Wheeler of Langford and Lucy Pope, widow;
- bequeathing £800 to his cousin John Pedley of Potton, gentleman;
- bequeathing £150 to his cousin Mary Althorp of Potton, widow,
- bequeathing £50 to Elizabeth Tottie of Blackwall, Stepney [Middlesex], widow;
- bequeathing £20 to his servant James Page;
- charging all real and personal estate with payment of the legacies;
- appointing John Pedley nd George Day of Tempsford, corn factor and George Pedley of Potton, gentleman joint executors and giving them £40 each for their trouble;
- witnesses: O M Saunders; John Emery; Charles Woods;
- proved in PCC on 17 October 1804
