    Parties: (i) Thomas Lee of Saint George, Hanover Square, esquire; (ii) Elizabeth Ashhurst of Bedford Row, Saint Andrew, Holborn [Middlesex], widow Reciting: - AN29/1; - the marriage took place; - Thomas Browne the elder died on 24 June 1714 and John Browne died soon afterwards without issue; - Samuel Browne died 26 January 1716 [1717] leaving as issue a son, Thomas and Mary Browne pregnant with Mary Browne (now Mary Schutz); - Thomas Browne the son died 21 March 1721 [1722] unmarried and without issue at which point Thomas Browne, brother of Samuel, became entitled to (b), (p) and (v) to (x) not limited in the jointure of his sister-in-law Mary and became entitled to reversion of (a), (c)-(o) and (q)-(u); - Mary Browne the daughter (now Mary Schutz) became 21 on 21 April 1738 becoming entitled to her portion of £3,000; - death of Isaac Ewer leaving the term of 200 years vested in Francis Saint John; - AN29/2; - report of master in Chancery of 18 July 1740 certifying that the property in possession of Thomas Browne, uncle to Mary Browne the plaintiff, were worth £3,890 and the premises in jointure (of which Thomas Browne was not in possession) were worth £5,435/7/1 - that the estate in possession of Thomas Browne ought to pay towards the portion £1,251/8/4¼ and the estate in reversion should pay £1,748/7/7/¾ and that it would be most convenient to raise the money for the portion by mortgages of the respective estates and the mortgage of the estate in reversion “should be on the terms of staying for the interest till after the death of the jointress or of the said defender Thomas Browne”; - master taxed costs of Mary Browne the daughter, Francis Saint John and Oliver Saint John at £99/13/6 of which the estate in possession was to pay £41/16/6 added to the sum of £1,251/8/4¼ and £57/17/- added to the £1,748/7/7¾; - AN29/3; - AN29/4; - AN29/8; - AN29/25; - AN29/26; - £2,000 remained outstanding with interest from 1 December 1769; - bond of 2 June 1770 in which (i) became bound in the sum of £2,800 to (ii) for a loan of £1,400 with interest at 4½%, the bond to be void on repayment; - (i) agreed to charge (a)-(x) with repayment of the £1,400 Operative Part: - (i) covenanted with (ii) that (a)-(x) were chargeable with repayment of £3,400 (£2,000 and £1,400) Property: (a) Manor of Little Barford; (b) advowson of Little Barford; (c) right of free fishing in Great Ouse at Eaton Socon and Tempsford; (d) capital messuage (a)-(d) formerly in the occupation of Jasper Edwards (e) messuage and close of 3 acres in Little Barford formerly in the occupation of Edward Thrassell, since Jasper Edwards; (f) messuages, cottages, arable, meadow and pasture in Little Barford, Eynesbury [Huntingdonshire], Tempsford and Waresley [Huntingdonshire] in occupation of Thomas Tingey (g) farm containing 176 acres of arable, 15 acres of meadow and two closes of pasture containing together 8 acres formerly in the occupation of Widow Harding; (h) farm containing 9 acres of arable, 3 roods of meadowand 2 acres of pasture formerly in the occupation of William Savile; (i) messuage and close of pasture containing 1 acre, 2 roods formerly in the occupation of Oliver, 2nd Earl Bolingbroke; (j) cottage and close adjoining containing 2 roods formerly in the occupation of Richard Ady; (k) cottage and close adjoining containing 2 roods formerly in the occupation of Widow Tilly; (l) cottage and close adjoining formerly in the occupation of Widow Alenson; (m) nine cottages; (m) quit rent of 13/4 arising from lands late of Thomas Tingey in Little Barford; (n) quit rent of 2/4 issuing out of lands of Ashcomb [Sir Oliver Ayshcombe?] in Little Barford and Eynesbury; (o) Manor of Astwick alias Estwick in Astwick, Stotfold and Langford with manor house and all lands; (p) adowson of Astwick; (q) several tofts, cottages and tenements in Astwick formerly in occupation of Anthony Keyford, John Keyford and William Surele (r) Greyhound or New Inn near the London Road, Astwick formerly in the occupation of John Griggs; (s) two closes of pasture adjoining (r) containing 4½ acres; (t) cottage formerly in the occupation of John Lovell; (u) orchard and close of pasture containing 2½ acres and 6½ acres, ½ rood of arable in the common fields of Astwick; (v) rectory impropriate of Arlesey; (w) all manner of tithes belonging to Arlesey Rectory; (x) advowson of Arlesey Habendum: - to (ii) for residue of the term of 200 years with proviso for equity of redemption Witnesses: - Thomas Middleton; - Thomas Hall
