Has seen William Gosling and Mr Wooding, one of the surveyors to be employed [to undertake the valuations at Putney]. The terms of remuneration have not been settled and tthe writer recommends the rate or quantum of compensation be agreed before the valuation is commenced. Enclosed paper setting out instructions for valuation of property in Putney to show whether a foundation can be laid for general relief throughout the parish and the commissioners may be applied to on the strength of the specimen.
