- TitleLetter from Charles H Ware, Gray's Inn, to Amabel, Baroness Lucas.
- Date free text21 May 1806
- Production dateFrom: 1806 To: 1806
- Scope and ContentOn 10 May Buckland was instructed to inform Mrs Robertson that the money for the lease would be required in London in a month and recommending that it be remitted to Messrs Hoare's bank. Perhaps it may now be best to desire that the £1,000 which Mrs Robertson can now pay be paid at once to Lady Lucas' account on the express understanding that the lease will not be granted until the remainder is paid; and if the remainder is not paid by Michaelmas the £1,000 will be returned and Mrs Robinson's claim to the lease extinguished. Includes copy of letter from Buckland dated 20 May 1806 stating that Mrs Robertson needs time to procure the full purchase money, and suggesting payment on the terms stated above. Also, that the lives are her three sons, Thomas, aged 19, Charles aged 17 and James, age 14. These are the sons of Sarah Robinson, widow of the late William Robinson of Eastcourt, yeoman.
