Grant: Robert Ratele of Stagsden to John Worsle & wife Joan of ‘Potynho’ (Putnoe in Goldington) - A tenement & 18 ac. lying dispersed in the town and fields of Bedford viz:- - i) The tenement called Tanners in the parish of St Peter de Merton, extending from the king’s highway to Savernedych; - ii) 10 ac. lying together in le Buryfeld in the said parish next the land of the Rector of St Peter; - iii) 2 ac in the same field lying under Clophamhyll next the land of the Priory of Newenham; - iv) 6 ac in the same field. Which formerly belonged to John Dowl, esq., Robert Wasselyn, John Cras, William Bette & Thomas Kempster
