    - devising her real estate in Bedfordshire and Walthamstow [Essex] to her husband John, he to pay £200 to Mrs Humphreys on delivery of a bond signed by testatrix and Beatrix Ridges; - praying John Garthorn would give to Mrs Humphreys and her daughter a diamond ring each “in token of my love to them”; to Hon Mrs Townsend the diamond ring with the coronet on it; to Mrs Kent the ring that was the testatrix’s sister’s; - “as to my relations being many, I leave it to him to do as he thinks proper” - witnesses: her servants Catherine Piggott, Katherine Burls and John Gilbert; - declared by Elizabeth Garthorn on 17 May 1736 as her last will and testament witnessed by Catherine Piggott, George Andrewes junior and John Gilbert Proved in PCC on 11 November 1736 by John Garthorn
