    Parties: (i) Rev John Garthorne of Devonshire Street [Middlesex] and Elizabeth, his wife and Beatrixe Ridges of Devonshire Street, spinster; (ii) Thomas Spring of Great Barford, yeoman Operative Part: - (i) leased the following estate in Great Barford: (a) cottage with pightle belonging in occupation of William Watts, (b) 10 acres of arable in Mill Field, (c) close of pasture of 10 acres between grounds of John Willis, (d) two pightles of pasture containing 2 acres each lying near Creakers Farm, (e) 7 acres of meadow in West Meadow all formerly in the occupation of Joseph Ryecraft, deceased - reserving all trees to (i) but allowing (ii) to cut and plash hedges and lop trees customarily lopped; - (ii) to hold (b) and (e) from Lady Day 1729 for 6 years; - (ii) to hold (a), (c) and (d) from Michaelmas 1729 for 6 years; - (ii) paying rent of £17/10 per annum from Michaelmas 1729 and £5 for every acre for every acre of pasture ploughed up during the lease without consent of (i) Witnesses: - Sarah[?] Pepiatt; John Peppiatt
