Caption: 'Water quality monitoring in Sussex, England. This station is sited one mile upstream of Hardham treatment works on the river Rother at Fittleworth, West Sussex, England. The station, comprising ammonia, nitrate and multiparameter water quality monitors - plus pump, filter and recorders - was installed and commissioned for the Southern Water Authority, by Kent Industrial Measurements Limited. The ammonia monitor signal output and alarms are relayed by telemetry to a central computer at Horsham.
