- Scope and ContentThe writer has discovered from Mr Jervis that none of the tenants in Leicestershire paid their Michaelmas rents to Mr. Burges. They have usually been indulged till after Nuneaton Fair, which is on the 14th. Jervis has provided a surety and the writer will send a bond to be executed and instruct him to collect the rents. Writer is informed by Mr Nicholls that one of Mr Burges's executors is in Wales and the Will will not be proved in less than a fortnight.
