Franked "MAIDENHEAD 12:45pm JY 25 03" and stamped with a green Edward VII halfpenny stamp. Sent to Mrs A E Grimmer at Ivy Cottage, Dunstable Street, Ampthill. "Saturday - We went to Windsor yesterday and Mother got a H*****d S***t [sic] for you, quite plain, so don't you get one. The weather seems as if it will be better now, we are going for a drive this afternoon. I am glad Miss H came to see you, I expect we shall soon be coming home now, the time goes so quickly. We have not been to the Beeches yet, but hope to go next week. E.M.S."
