- Scope and ContentPostcard sent to Miss G E Sutton, S. Catherine's School, Guildford. Message reads 'E.B. Oct 13 05. I think this a rather a pretty view of Totternhoe. I cannot get more of the S. of W. at present. We had a pleasant afteroon at Billington yesterday, & a nice little ride. Auntie Helena was too unwell for us to go to Ashby House, as we had hoped. Do you remember what kind of dancing shoes Miss Nicholl liked you to have? without heels? I must get some for Irene - has first class in Wed. week. We are busy preparing to go to Rdg. on Mon. Don't forget to address there. We hope to send you a little taste of I.'s birth cake. W. goes to Cam. this aft', home on the 18th. Very much love, Mother.'
