She was born in St Mary's parish, daughter of Walter Clements, publican of Shepherd and Dog, Cauldwell Street and hairdresser, and Rebecca his wife. She married 18 March 1874 John George Dixon of Newcastle, timber merchant. She was the mother of Alice)
