Lady Mary continues up and well. Discusses annuity on spinster of 38 years, and on Dr Young. Concerned for poor Bro Duncomb, long confinement & building in hand. Harriot better and better. Sam & Emma well. Tomorrow will be charged with a 4 [quarter's] Land Tax. Believes will be for B in the Minority for this, if they do not declare a war. Quarrels run high at present. When finished Bridge, now all done & over except a lawsuit or so, entered upon a Well Digging at Manor. Turned out surprizing. Lists strata of ground dug through.
