Harriot arrived safe & in good spirits. Account she gives of stay makes me uneasy. Shall suspend saying anything till I see the Counceller. Shall be glad to see him. Thanks for all the care of her. We dine at Sister Whitbread's tomorrow & after to school. Sent piece of fish for mother & lamb for Grandmother. Do not like the account of Mr Sears maid, decline taking her. Want steady person if to be had. Tell Nurse I think no more of Childs. Enclose 2 £50 & 5 £20 notes.
