To Bedwell Park on Friday. Harriot purely recovered considering keeping her room. Nearly fixed for 2 children & nurses accepting mothers invitation to Ivinghoe. Left Emma & Sam very well. Making some interest to get off being Sheriff as was informed by friend that not only Seare but Searants using all means to be excused the latter on account of crown prisoner in Hertford Gaol for £33,000. Am almost of a mind to get put on for Beds to avoid risks of this Debtor escaping. If you can speak to Duke of Bridgwater, I leave it to you. Perhaps may do it without his Grace. Seare makes shabby figure in affair, his levying in Grosvenor Square. For copy of bond address is William Nailour Blundell Esq. Offad Darcy, near Bugdon, Huntingdonshire. Glad my Grandmother is well.
