- Scope and ContentKnow who your friends are, do not put Richard Lownds amongst them, his influence entirely against you. Now has done with County affairs, which have been curse to family 30 years. Encloses Scott's estimate and another of my Carpenter, to show Mother and Sister. Setting out for Argin Hall. saw Hariot yesterday, not in great spirits, but in good health. Hears Emma & boy are well. Going to Chennels Green on Monday. About Lucy going to wedding, opinion freely is not to go, but offer pay them visit at West Mill. Gives opinion as being asked, not to lay weight. Called on Mr. Baldwin. Spirits low & fears Mother's & Sister's are too. Wish could take advice better & make good use of it we want for the loss of our dear dear friend.
