Two new Thorneycroft charabancs standing on the forecourt of Nicholls & Son, coachbuilders, St Marys Square, Bedford. The driver at the wheel of the near coach is Horace J Hill and the driver of the far coach is his brother William H Hill.

Nicoll & Son workshop behind the vehicles, title above workshop reads 'Coachbuilders, Wheelwrights, Motor Engineers & Agents. Both Thorneycroft charabancs are shown with canvas roofs folded down (clearly visible on front vehicle on right hand side of photograph). Also have windows fitted to sides of vehicles. Printed on front of postcard 'Horace J Hill, Charabanc Proprieter, 12 Bedford Road, Kempston. Large and small Parties catered for'.
