    i) Sir Robert Chernock of Holcot ii) Francis, Earl of Bedford; Oliver, Earl of Bolingbroke; William, Viscount Grandison; James Fynes, son and heir of Viscount Say and Sele iii) St John Chernock, son and heir of i) and Adria, daughter of Sir William "Vyliers" of Brooksby, Leicestershire ... In consideration of £700 and 2 houses of Adria in St Bartholomews and St Leonards Foster, London, to be sold: i) above covenants to levy fine on Lordships of Clophill, Maulden, Keysoe and Bedlow, to make Adria's portion £2,100 and to redeem mortgage on Holcote (of Sir Robert Bannister of Passenham in Northampton). i) covenants to levy second fine with ii) on all above manors including Holcote that these provide iii) after death of John (Sir Robert's father) with yearly rent of £240 while live with i) and of £300 if leave him. On death of St John, Adria to have rent £200 per annum during life of i) and £300 per annum on death of i) Francis, Robert, Beauchamp and John, younger sons of i), £40 per annum each for life after death of i) and his father Ann and Katherine daughters of i), £30 per annum after death of i) and father, increased to 100 marks per annum on marriage, with £500 portion if marriage after death of i) Conveyance to use of Earl of Bedford, Robert Hewett of Ampthill and Humphrey Monoux of Wootton for 99 years, or until death of i) then to use of iii) and heirs male to St John and heirs male by other wife to brothers and heirs male in above order to sons unborn and heirs male to right heirs of St John remainder to be divided between daughters at age 20 up to extent of £2,500 Only other charge laid upon property £200 per annum to Agnes wife of i) - indenture dated 20 April 1617
