- Scope and Content"To Messrs Henry Richard James Swaffield and Samuel John Swaffield: As Agents and Solicitors for and on behalf of Priscilla Marshall of Ampthill in the County of Bedford, spinster, we hereby give you notice that by an Indenture dated 14th March 1901 and made between Annie Grimmer, the wife of Albert Edward Grimmer of Ampthill aforesaid Engineer, of the 1st part, the said Albert Edward Grimmer of the 2nd part, and the said Priscilla Marshall of the 3rd part, the said Annie Grimmer thereby assigned unto the said Priscilla Marshall, All that the one fourth part or share of her the said Annie Grimmer (expectant on the decease or remarriage of her mother Eliza Annie Swaffield) of and in a sum of £1,000 to which she is entitled by virtue of an Indenture of Settlement made the 19th day of June 1868 between Benjamin George Swaffield and Eliza Annie his wife, of the one and yourselves of the other part and which said sum of £1,000 is now invested in the names of you the said Henry Richard James Swaffield and Samuel John Swaffield as the Trustees of the said Indenture, by way of Mortgage for securing to the said Priscilla Marshall, her executors administrators and assigns the repayment of the sum of £50 with interest thereon as therein mentioned.
