    i) Reverend Robert Barker, Fellow of New College, Oxford ii) Anne Barker of Hampstead, widow and relict of Richard Barker, esquire, of Great Horwood, Buckinghamshire, deceased iii) Alexander Croke, esquire of Denton, Buckinghamshire and wife Elizabeth (daughter of a former marriage of Richard Barker) iv) Reverend Alexander Leith of Bedford (Recital of SA486, SA488, SA491. Recital of Marriage Settlement of 27 July 1717 between a) Ann Peck of Bedford, spinster (= ii)); b) Richard Barker; c) Reverend Nicholas Aspinall of Bedford; Thomas Bodington, citizen and leather seller of London; John Wentworth alias Greswell, esquire of Lillingston, Oxfordshire; Robert Barker, gentleman, Fellow of New College. Interest in terms of SA492 had come to a) [reciting Mortgage (1,000 years) of 1 August 1705; Ethelred Conquest, widow to John Chalton, gentleman ... messuage and lands in Houghton Conquest for securing to Chalton £300. By several assignments this also became vested in Ann Peck (= ii)) for securing her £400. Reciting also Mortgage for 500 years of 20 October 1716. John Wagstaffe gentleman to Anne Peck (= ii)) of messuage and lands in Ravensdall alias Ravensden, Rownhall and Wilden for securing to Ann Peck (= ii)) £1,000. £1,650 in all due to Anne Peck (= ii)). She is also entitled to £350 from Exchequer for interest in joint stock of £900 and £10,000 transferred to her by James Round. £20,000. Intended Marriage of a) and b) and jointure; b) to c) certain messuages and lands to use of b) then a) for life, then issue. Premises chargeable with £2,000 payable to Elizabeth Barker, daughter of b) when 18 or day of marriage and not more than £50 per annum before then - expressed in Release 11 February 1709 between a) Richard Barker and wife Abigail; b) William Bushby, esquire, Bennett Metcalfe, Thomas Wood, and Robert Lowndes, esquire. In consideration of marriage and settlement and as provision for payment of portion and maintenance of Elizabeth Barker and for indemnifying messuage conveyed from payment of it. £2,000 and several securities "Tally and Order" for the same should be assigned to c)] Performance of agreement, 5s c) to a). a) to c) assigned SA486 and other assignments and mortgages made as security for £250. Also mortgage made by Ethelred Conquest to John Chalton (see above) and other mortgages and securities made as security for £400. Also Mortgage of J Wagstaff to Ann Peck (= ii)) as security for £1,000. Also sum of £350 (above) payable by order and tally. For remainder of terms. In trust that c) should permit Richard Barker to have all profits of £250, £400, £1,000, and £350 until Elizabeth Barker's portion is due (by deed of 11 February 1709/10) and to maintain her in meantime. Then trustees to pay portion if Richard Barker did not. On trust also to call in money assigned when R [?] and Ann Peck (= ii)) desire and apply to new securities. Richard Barker died without paying £2,000 to daughter Elizabeth; no issue by 2nd wife Anne. Above trustees dead, therefore premises in Wilstead vested in i) for remainder of 2 terms of 500 years for securing £250 on above trusts. Croke entitled to wife's portion of £2,000. iv) agreed to advance £250 for an assignment) i) to iv) ... assigned SA486 and further assignments and mortgages to secure £250 for remainder of 2 terms of 500 years witnessed: Richard Ward (clerk to Mr Urlin); Charles Parker, Francis Howland (clerk to Serjeant Shinner), Richard Sarjain, servant to Mr Barker, Goddard Urlin, Matthew Ashton, servant to Mr Barker
