Scope and Content
These sketches were sent by the artist, R Skinner to E J O'Dell as Christmas cards. Mr O'Dell of 123 Coventry Road, Bedford, motor engineer and private hire car operator used to drive Mr and Mrs Skinner and taught their sons to fish and shoot. (He also taught Mr Henry Longhurst to fish , and Mr Longhurst pays tribute to his skill in his book "My life and Soft Times".)
