    i) being the Commissioners in bankruptcy in the case of George Goldsmith, the commission being dated 9 October 1745 George now being of Windridge, St Michael's, Hertfordshire said George Goldsmith dealt as a maltster and chapman in the buying of barley and became indebted to John Cowper of St Albans, Hertfordshire, in £100 debts of said George Goldsmith were assigned to ii) in trust for creditors i) as commissioners have bargained and sold to ii) … all lands etc. of George Goldsmith, in Higham Gobion, Chalton [in Toddington] and Pulloxhill etc. ii) are to dispose of the same for the best profit which can be got for the benefit of the creditors Signatures (copy) of i)
