    i) by bond of 8 July 1743 became bound to Ann Halford, St Albans in £500 to be void on payment of £250 i) by another bond of 9 January 1743 became bound to Ann Halford in £200 to secure repayment of £100 to more effectually secure repayment of first bond, i) mortgaged to Ann Halford, certain lands in Higham Gobion, for 1,000 years i) to secure repayment of 2nd bond, said lands also charged with this, and mortgage endorsed i) by another bond of 22 February 1743 also became bound to Ann Halford in £215 to secure repayment of £107..15s said Ann Halford has since died. By her will, dated 18 May 1743, appointed ii) as her executors now i) to more effectually secure repayment of said sums i) demises to ii) … messuage, gardens etc. in Pulloxhill … 12 acres pasture and 5 cares arable in Pulloxhill and Silsoe now in occupation of Mr Abbott term - 500 years void upon payment of said sums and interest on 2 April next signature of i) No witnesses given or endorsements 'The original of this Deed Mr Hollis had with his discharged deeds'
