railway constructed by i) runs very close to Blunham House, and just before it reaches the grounds of said house, it crosses the road from Blunham to Charlton and Moggerhanger, and part of which road is kept in repair by ii) 'ratione tenurae' and whereas the Company (i)) have lowered level of said road by several feet and have carried the line of the railway over said road rather than under it as they originally proposed to do, ii) is advised that said alteration will cause him increased expense in repairing road and will interfere with view from Blunham House i) have agreed to compensate ii) by conveying piece of land to him free of expense, which had been conveyed to i) by deed of 8 August 1862 between a) Clinton George Augustus Dawkins, William Honywood, Henry Lake b) Elizabeth Dawkins c) said Company NOW i) grants to ii) … triangular piece of land (2 roods 25 perches?) one side: said railway another side: Blunham House remaining side River Ivel (as in plan on deed) i) agree to produce a deed of 8 August 1862, if required Signatures:[illegible] Seal of i) Endorsed: witness
