Chapel or manor of St Macute in Hawnes, Wilstead, and Cardington, belonging to dissolved abbey of St Albans. With St Makes wood in Wilstead (20 acres) in occupation of Sir Francis Ventris. [see Haynes Park Manuscripts no.5] (by Lease of 27 April 1623 to Robert Morgan) [see Haynes Park Manuscripts no.2] Rent: £46. Until Sir Francis Ventris has paid to Robert Morgan £500 within 3 years after death of Elizabeth Morgan his wife, Peppercorn rent for residue of term.
