    To wife Sarah for life, all his property in Risley, charged with an annuity of £15 to daughter Lucy if she should marry, or if she lives apart from her mother. Remainder to son Thomas Gell and daughter Lucy Gell. To son John Gell £50; To son Richard Gell £300; To trustees, (son Thomas, daughter Lucy and friend Daniel Hipwell of Stoke Mills, Bletsoe, miller) £250 to pay interest after his wife's death to daughter Sarah the wife of Richard Perkins; To same trustees £300 to pay interest after wife's death to daughter Ann the wife of Thomas George the two capital sums to be divided on the deaths of Sarah and Ann between their respective children. To wife use of household furniture for life, and £50. To sons John and Richard and to daughters Sarah Perkins and Ann George £50 each. Residue to trustees to pay debts and legacies, then life interest to wife, and on her death be divided between Thomas and Lucy Gell. Executors as trustees above. Made 19 July 1834. Witnesses: William Day of St. Neots, Thomas George & James Curtis of Risely. Codicil 2 July 1835; Codicil 25 Feb 1837 revoking bequest on trust to daughter Ann George, and bequeathing to her instead £300 absolutely, charged with £100 in promissary bond which testator has joined her husband in promissary note to Mr. John Addison of Great Staughton, farmer.
