    The depositor, Mr Frank Hipwell informs us that Thomas Collier was a Sharnbrook Baptist Chapel trustee. 'Waterside' is the present Ouse Manor. Thomas Collier adopted his niece, Eliza Chapman, who lived with him and his wife until her marriage in 1840. Eliza was the grandmother of the depositor. Thomas Gell was a considerable landowner in that part of Bedfordshire, whose nephews and neices, ihe Islips, recieved a part of Gells estate, Coffle End.

    - Reciting X106/81, and that Thomas and Mary Talbot are still living and there is no issue of the marriage - Reciting a Mortgage of 15 Aug 1818 between i) Charles Welstead ii) Thomas Gell iii) Robert Talbot, and -Reciting a Further Charge of 29/30 Oct 1819 between i) Thomas Gell ii) Benjamin Welstead iii) Robert Talbot, and -Reciting a Further Charge of 30 Oct 1820 between i) Thomas Gell ii) Robert Talbot by which Thomas Gell mortgaged to Robert Talbot for £8500 ... lands at Sharnbrook, Bletsoe and Riseley, and the mansion house at Sharnbrook, called the messuage by the Waterside - Reciting the will of Robert Talbot of 23 May 1821 by which he bequeathed to his sister Mary Collier life annuity of £50, and a similar annuity to his housekeeper Elizabeth Smith now Elizabeth Peck of Sharnbrook, the remainder of his property to his executor, his brother John Talbot - Receiting death of Robert about the year 183(?) and will proved 14 Apr 1834 - Reciting death of John Talbot 27 Apr. 1841 and will 25 Jan. 1840 and codicil 11 Dec 1840 appointing as his executors Wallis, Wallis, Knighton and Collier as above, devising to them all messuages & lands vested in him as Trustee or Mortgages, and will proved P.C.C. 16 June 1841 - Reciting sale by Thomas Gell of property at Bletsoe and Riseley & that he has paid off part of mortgage, leaving £4600 due DECLARATION of TRUSTS by executors of John Talbot as above that the £4600 to be considered capital to meet £1020 under trusts of Marriage Settlement, and also to provide the annuities under will of Robert Talbot.
