The depositor, Mr Frank Hipwell informs us that Thomas Collier was a Sharnbrook Baptist Chapel trustee.
'Waterside' is the present Ouse Manor.
Thomas Collier adopted his niece, Eliza Chapman, who lived with him and his wife until her marriage in 1840. Eliza was the grandmother of the depositor.
Thomas Gell was a considerable landowner in that part of Bedfordshire, whose nephews and neices, ihe Islips, recieved a part of Gells estate, Coffle End.

- Reciting the will of Robert Talbot of 23 May 1821 by which he bequeathed to his sister Mary Collier life annuity of £50, and a similar annuity to his housekeeper Elizabeth Smith now Elizabeth Peck of Sharnbrook, the remainder of his property to his executor, his brother John Talbot
