    i) Charles Blackwelll ii) George Read, Kempston, grocer consideration - £150 i) demises to ii) - moiety of: --- 8 acres 1 rood in Kempston common fields term - 1,000 years interest - 5% per annum copyhold property to be surrendered into hands of Lords of the Manors (he was admitted to said property on death of his mother Jane Blackwell) to use of ii), subject to redemption signature of i) endorsed receipt witnesses: Ambrose Reddall, Francis Chessham 21 Oct 1754 also endorsed with: memorandum that the principal money is the 'proper' money of Joseph Margetts Pierson 14 Sep 1757 also endorsed with: transfer George Read Joseph Margetts Pierson, Hitchin, Hertfordshire, grocer and tallow chandler Thomas Vincent, Hitchin, grocer and tallow chandler said £150 was not repaid at agreed time by indenture of 6 September 1756 property charged with a further £100 by bond of 26 July 1757 Charles Blackwell further charged the property (freehold and copyhold) with £50 total - £300 which still remains due to George Read, all interest having been paid Joseph Margetts Pierson (by deeds of 14 and 15 October 1757) purchased premises now in consideration of said £300 paid to George Read by Joseph Margetts Pierson by direction of Charles Blackwell (said sum being part of consideration money) and in consideration of 5s paid to George Read by Thomas Vincent George Read, by direction of Charles Blackwell transfers to Thomas Vincent - property within mentioned for remainder of term, in trust for Joseph Margetts Pierson signatures: George Read, Charles Blackwell, Joseph Margetts Pierson receipt witnesses 17 Oct 1757
