Encloses paper (W1/5707?) giving account of massacres at Praga, Warsaw. In France 24,000 guillotined (12,000 in Paris, 12,000 provinces). Those who perished by shooting, drowning etc. would amount to many more. At Lyons 40,000 may be said to have been executed, and as many at Marseilles; 10000 at Toulon, and 60,000 in Brittany and Poitou. The total executed during Robespierre's reign would be about 200,000.
