    To nephew William Symcotts, executor, only son of late twin brother Robert, messuage in Offord Darcy, purchased of Nicholas Pedley, and now leased to Roger Pursell of Offord Cluny and in occupation of his son Thomas; 28 acres arable and a close purchased of Anthony Leedes of Croxton; 1 acre arable purchased of John Chapman, 1½ acres of Roger Pursell; 2 acres meadow in Read meadow, Godmanchester, and messuage now in occupation of William Earle of Godmanchester, house in Huntingdon wherein testator dwells, and tenement adjoining in occupation of John Smith; plot called the "dovecoat yeard and the hogyeard" adjoining with dovecote and barn in occupation of John Pilcher, innholder. To sister Anne, the Crown Inn, Huntingdon and "the rood yeard" for life, unless nephew William substitutes annuity of £10; also £30 to nephew John Symcotts, eldest son of late brother George, estate for years in messuage in Paternoster Row, late 3 Black Lions, now the Angel, subject to annuity of £24 to nephew Robert. To nephew Robert, son of brother George, 30 shilling pieces of King James and 8 old angels whereof one is a double ducat; to niece Mary, daughter of brother George, £100; to Thomas Jackson, son of John and late Elizabeth Jackson, grandson of brother Thomas, unexpired lease of 2 messuages in Ivy Lane End, London to Joyce Jackson, daughter of same, £50; to friend Nicholas Pedley, esquire of Huntingdon, supervisor, £10 to buy him a piece of plate; to godson Thomas Tryce, son of Nathaniel Tryce, 40s. Seven small bequests to inhabitants of Godmanchester and Huntingdon. Body to be buried in north aisle of St Mary's church, Huntingdon. Witnesses: Thomas Taylor, Richard Weaver, John Negus. 9 April 1662 Proved 15 December 1662.
