    i) Anne Astry, St Margaret's, Westminster, Middlesex, spinster Henrietta Astry, same place, spinster (two daughters of Sir James Astry, Woodend, Harlington, knight, deceased) Peniston Astry, same place, esquire (third and youngest son of said Sir James Astry) ii) Francis Astry, Woodend etc., D.D. and brother and heir of James Astry, esquire, deceased, who was eldest son of said Sir James iii) Mary Burr of -, Bedfordshire, widow and administratrix of estate of William Burr, late of Shortnold, Bedfordshire, gentleman, deceased, who survived Robert Perrott late of Northly, Oxfordshire, esquire, deceased iv) Sir Pynsent Charnock, Holcot, baronet, who survived Sir Robert Jenkinson, late of Walcot, Oxfordshire, baronet, deceased v) Sir William Saunderson, Charlton, Kent, knight, gentleman usher of the Black Rod John Coppin, Markett Cell, Caddington, Hertfordshire, esquire vi) Joseph Webb, citizen and grocer of London Francis Peters, Inner Temple, London, gentleman reciting settlement of 16 June 1676 a) Sir James Astry by name of James Astry, Great Rolright, Oxfordshire, esquire b) Sir Thomas Penyston, Cornwall, Oxfordshire, baronet William Sheppard, Great Rolright, Oxfordshire, esquire - Manor of Wadlow in Harlington and Toddington and other property in those parishes and in Westoning were limited to use of a) for life and then to William Burr and Robert Perrott for 99 years upon trust to raise portions for any daughters of a) and his wife Anne and for their yearly maintenance after death of a). Various provisions to meet certain eventualities reciting mortgage of 4 July 1701 (see X702/1) reciting trust deed of even date i.e. 4 July 1701 1) Sir James Astry 2) said James Astry 3) said Sir Robert Jenkinson said Sir Pynsent Charnock 1) had 2 daughters, Anne and Henrietta. 1) thinking it more prudent that they should have £1,000 secured to them in his lifetime than £1,500 after his death, and had agreed this with 2) in full satisfaction of said trust. Said premises, after determination of said term of 500 years limited to securing £50 per annum for 1), and subject thereto to 3) for 600 years in trust. 2) agreed with trustees that he would pay £500 to Anne and Henrietta at 21. Until money paid they could live at Woodend and 2) would provide them with lodging, washing etc. and pay them £5 per annum each. Also agreed that 2) would pay to brother Penyston Astry £100 within 12 months after the marriage of 2) or within 2 years of date of last mentioned deed. In the meantime he was to provide his brother with diet whenever he was out of employment, and £10 per annum at such time. Also 2) was to provide for Mistress Pert, a lunatic, subject to a Chancery Commission. 2) was also to pay £2,310 to Charles Cutts. 2) was also within 6 months of said last in part recited indenture cause all such judgements as had been obtained against 1) to be vacated and reversed. Also 2) will pay £50 per annum to 1) 1) and Mistress Pert died in lifetime of 2). 2) died unmarried and letters of administration of his estate were obtained by ii), who has paid said sum of £2,310 and interest and so Charles Cutts on 7 April 1717 assigned the premises to Charles Cotes, esquire, in trust for ii) for remainder of said term of 500 years ii) has accounted with Anne Astry for her portion etc. and there is due to her £500. Similarly with Henrietta and Penyston to whom there is due £100 now in consideration of £500 each paid to Anne and Henrietta and £100 to Penyston i) discharge and exonerate ii) and the property also in consideration of 5s paid to iii) by v) iii) by direction of i) and nomination of ii) assigns to v) - said Manor of Wadlow and all lands etc. limited to William Burr and Robert Perrott for remainder of said term of 99 years in trust as in deed made one day before this also in consideration of 5s paid to iv) by vi) iv) by direction of i) and nomination of ii) assigns to vi) - said Manor and lands etc. limited to Sir Robert Jenkinson and iv) for remainder of said term of 600 years in trust as in deed made the day before signatures of i) to iv) endorsed: receipts various witnesses
