    Parties: (i) John Thomas Lee of Parkside, Havelock Rise, Luton, retired coal merchant (ii) Caroline Hawkes of Crawley Road in Luton, widow (iii) George Frederick Farr of 56 Collingdon Street in Luton, engineer Reciting: - properties were devised to (ii) by her late husband Frederick Hawkes - £150 is still owing on the mortgage to (i) but the interest has been paid - before his death Frederick Hawkes agreed in writing to sell the property to (iii) for £1000 and received £50 as deposit and part payment but no conveyance was executed Operative part: (ii) to convey to (iii) for £850 with an additional £150 paid to (i) to settle the existing mortgage Property: (a) land on NW of Collingdon Street containing 11p 9y extending on the NW side or rear next the London and North Eastern Railway (formerly the Great Northern Railway) and on NE side next to a messuage and shop belonging to (iii) and on the SW side next to the dyeworks and premises formerly of John William Rose and now of Messrs Oakley and Jennings Witnesses: - G.
