    i) Thomas Bowyer, Buckden, Huntingdonshire, cornfactor Nevile Day, St Neots, Huntingdonshire, gentleman (trustees of will of Thomas Thorns, deceased) ii) William Atkinson, St Neots, gentleman William Emery, St Neots, stationer John Burder Squire, St Neots, merchant (executors of will of James Squire, late of St Neots, merchant, deceased) iii) John Jay Graves, Battersea, Surrey, esquire iv) John Hobson, Eaton Socon, miller v) Joseph Savill, St Neots, draper vi) William Day, St Neots, gentleman i) put up property for sale by auction at White Horse Inn, Eaton Socon, on 26 September 1827 but was not sold. However iii) [?ii] have agreed to sell it to him [?iii] for £2,550 reciting mortgage of 19 November 1798 (quoted in X732/70) relating to the White Horse, Eaton Socon, mortgaged for £900 James Squire, party to above mortgage, died in February 1824 and appointed ii) as executors of this will (proved, Huntingdon, 28 May 1825) £900 and interest from 19 November last is now due to ii) it is agreed that £100 (part of said mortgage debt) should be paid out of said £2,550 in part discharge of said debt. Residue of property remaining unsold being sufficient for remainder of debt now in consideration of £100 paid to ii) by iii) at request of i) and of £2,450 residue paid to i) by iii) i) release by the direction of ii) to iii) - messuage in Eaton Socon with brewhouse, barn, stable, schoolhouse and other outbuildings, gardens, orchard etc. belonging (4 acres) formerly in occupation of Jane Blofield and since of Thomas Thorns - cottages erected by said [?] Robert Thorns on part of said yard etc. - allotment of land in Backside Field in Eaton Socon (15 acres 1 perch) adjoining said old enclosure [see X732/72] said property was purchased by Robert Thorns from Jane Blofield and her daughters - piece of land whereon a cottage once in occupation of John Barns and Samuel Brown but now taken down, once stood East: Great North Road all other parts: other lands mentioned in this deed which said piece of land was purchased by Thomas Thorns from Mary Emery - Malting Office lately erected and built by Thomas Thorns on piece of ground where stable and other buildings once belonging to White Horse previously stood - small piece of ground on North side of said Malting Office used as the Malting Yard bounded part by previously mentioned premises and on remaining part by small garden and yard (part of White Horse Estate) still belonging to i) all now in tenure of iv) certain of the property is that purchased by Robert Thorns from Jane Blofield and her daughters are comprised in term of 1,000 years created by mortgage of 3 August 1780 between Thomas Pridmore and George Cadge. reciting: Release of 13 October 1813 [X732/72] now in consideration of 5s paid to v) by vi) v) at request of i) and on appointment of iii) transferred to vi) - such parts of land previously particularly mentioned as were allotted on the enclosure of the open field land mentioned in deed of 3 August 1780, as comprised in said term of 1,000 years to be held in trust for iii) for remainder of said term of 1,000 years. Deeds as in 1st schedule relate not only to above property but also to White Horse Inn devised by will of Thomas Thorns to i) in trust for sale Deeds as in 2nd schedule relate also to property in St Neots devised by will of Thomas Thorns to i) in trust for sale and still remain their property is agreed that deeds in said 2 schedules should remain in hands of i) now in consideration of 5s apiece paid to i) by iii) i) agree with iii) that so long as they continue to be owners of said property in Eaton Socon and St Neots they will produce said deeds on request. Similar covenant to be imposed on future purchasers 1st schedule [mainly concerns deeds mentioned in X732/70] 2nd schedule [X732/75-76, X732/77-78 and deed of 26 January 1825 between Thomas Thorns and John Whitwell and James Wilkerson] signatures of i), ii) and v) endorsed: receipts witness: George Day
