    i) Thomas Bowyer, Buckden, Huntingdonshire, cornfactor Nevile Day, St Neots, Huntingdonshire, gentleman (devisees in trust of will of Thomas Thorns, deceased) ii) John Jay Graves, Battersea, Surrey, esquire iii) John Hobson, Eaton Socon, miller reciting: will of Robert Thorns by which he devised property on East side of Great North Road to wife Sarah, for life, and all other property to his son i), subject to payment of an annuity of £100 to Sarah, and 2 other annuities of £10 each out of property purchased of Reverend St John Harding, to testator's 2 daughters, Ann, wife of John Barker, now the wife of John Batten, and Elizabeth, wife of William Crouch, for lives, and subject also out of property, late Hardings, to payment of £300 to daughters and grandson Robert Thorns Lugsdin, to be paid within 6 months of Sarah's death Robert and Sarah are both dead reciting: will of Thomas Thorns dated 1 August 1826 by which he devised all his property in Eaton Socon and Eynesbury, Huntingdonshire, to i) in trust for sale Thomas Thorns died in May 1827 i) have paid all legacies under will of Robert Thorns i) put property up for sale by auction at White Horse, Eaton Socon, but they were not sold. ii) has since agreed to purchase property subject to 2 annuities to Ann Batten and Elizabeth Crouch and of the land tax, for £1,515 now in consideration of £1,515 paid to i) by ii) i) releases to ii) - allotment in Backside Field and Norton Field (24 acres 1 rood 12 perches) iii) to be trustee for ii) if necessary signatures of i) endorsed: receipt witnesses: William Gilby, Buckden, victualler William Mattock, clerk to Mr Day, solicitor, St Neots attached: burial entry from the parish of Welwyn, Hertfordshire, for Ann Batten of St Albans on 11 June 1837, aged 54 burial entry from the parish of Biggleswade, for Betsy Crouch of Biggleswade, on 18 June 1832, aged 77 copy made 16 Sep 1852
