    1) Sir Oliver Luke of Hawnes, knight, Sir Samuel Luke, knight, son and heir apparent of Sir Oliver, and Dame Elizabeth his wife, Thomas Luke second brother of said Sir Oliver, John Cooke of Woodend, and Richard Taylor of Clopham. 2) Rt Hon Oliver Lord St John of Bletsoe, son and heir apparant of the right honble. Oliver, Earl of Bolingbrooke, Ralph Freeman the elder of London, alderman, Sir Henry Wallop of Farley, Sir Miles Fleetwood of Aldwinkle, Sir William Litton of Knebworth, Sir George Sonde of Lees Court Kent, Knight of the Bath, Thomas Soame of London and Ralph Freeman the younger of London brother of the said Dame Elizabeth. By indenture of even date between Sir Oliver Luke, Thomas Luke, John Cooke, Richard Taylor and Sir Samuel Luke, Dame Elziabeth his wife, Oliver Lord St John, Ralph Freeman the elder, Sir Henry Wallop, Sir Milew Fleetwood, Sir George Sonde, Thomas Soame and William Litton. - All the manor or lordship of Woodend and Wiggino with rights, members and appurtenances. - 13 messuages, 9 cottages and 500 acres of land by estimation, 20 acres of meadow and three score acres of pasture in Woodend and Cople and in Warden and all other messuages, landes, tenements and hereditaments descended to him the said Sir Oliver from Nicholas Luke, his deceased father in Woodend and Cople and Warden (The manor house of Woodend & the park called Woodend Park only excepted and foreprized). - All that manor of Frankkino and all messuages etc in the parishes of Tow? ?, Hawnes, Cople Woodend, Carrington also Cardington, Eastcotts and Wilshamsted, heretofore purchased by the said Sir Oliver Luke from Thomas Field and William Tottnam. This indenture witnesseth that the said Sir Oliver Luke for and in consideration that the said Sir Samuell Luke and Dame Elizabeth is said wife and others have at the request of Sir Oliver joined in a fine for the manor of Arlesey in which manor Sir Samuel and Elizabeth have some estate for their daughter. Now 1 grants to 2 (more details of manors) to the use of Sir Samuel for his natural life, then to the use of Ralph Freeman the elder, Sir George Sond, Thomas Soame and Ralph Freeman the younger during the life of Dame Elziabeth, so long as she remains a widow, then to 2 for ever for the benefit of the issue female of Sir Samuel and Dame Elizabeth. Then details of in case of lack of heirs male of Sir Oliver, Thomas Luke or Sir John Luke (uncle of Sir Oliver) and if only one daughter of Dame Elizabeth then daughter receives £3,500. If more than one daughter then £4,500 between them. If daughter aged 15 at time of Sir Samuel's death, if do not reach age of 15, when payments should be made etc.
