    Reciting a total fee farm rent of £60 7s 9½d granted by letters patent of Chas I on 14 June in the 4th year of his reign [1628] to Edw Ditchfield, Jn Highlord, Hen Clarke, and Fran Mosse, citizens of London, holding it like as his Manor of East Greenwich in Kent, in socage and not in chief nor by military service, for 99 years. The woods now in the occupation of Sir Wm Briers, knt, at £6 7s 10d once part of the sd Manor, but no part of the above rent, are to be accepted. The above mentioned premises were granted to Sir Jn Walter, Sir Jas Fullerton and Sir Thos Treavor, knt (amongst other things) by lease for 99 years granted by King Jas I date 15 June in the 22 year of his reign [1589]. The surviving trustees on 16 May in the 4th year of Chas I assigned the remainder of the ad term to Wm Williams, Robt Mitchell, Walt Markes and Robt Marshe, citizens of London paying them to the use of the King, the above mentioned rent.
