Miss Talbot's letter arrived just before she left for Wimple where she never finds time to write. Lady Anson returned with her for three days. Discusses the dispositions which are always endeavouring to make tomorrow happy and thereby lose the ease they might enjoy today. Pities the Duke of Queensberry's family for the terrible accident that has befallen. Sweeting better than usual at this time of year, but “London is her place of trial”.
