Mentions their stay with Lord and Lady Rosebery, and the journey by stage coach to Kinfawns. From Kinfawns they travel to Scone, commenting, “The house is heavy: a bad coloured stone, dull red.” He concludes, “I am very glad to have seen these places, but never want to see any of them again.” Mentions they will travel to Dunkeld, Taymouth, Blair Atholl and Inverness over the coming week.
