    Parties: (i) Reverend Richard Hitchin Whitehurst of Westoning and Mary Ann his wife and Jane Bell of Bedford, spinster (ii) John Parker the younger of Bedford, gentleman, and Susanna his wife (iii) Joseph Halstead of Hitchin in Hertfordshire, gentleman Reciting: - Philip Beach died intestate and his properties descended to his three nieces the said Mary Ann Whitehurst, Jane Bell and Susanna Parker - (i) and (ii) sold them at a public auction at the Red Lion Inn in nine lots on 14 October 1803 - (ii) paid £275 for Lot 7 and £300 for Lot 8 Operative Part: (ii) pays £191 13s 4d each to Mary Ann Whitehurst and Jane Bell out of the proceeds of the sale of the other lots (i) and (ii) covenant with (iii) to levy a fine sur conizance de droit cum ceo etc. Property: (a) tenement fronting Mill Lane with the kitchen yard and garden adjoining late in the occupation of Mrs Sarah Thong and now of Mrs Mary Saville (b) tenement adjoining (a) fronting Mill Lane with the kitchen yard and garden adjoining and late in the occupation of William Wagstaffe and now of (ii) (a) – (b) were conveyed to Philip Beach by an indenture of 8 July 1793 between (1) Francis Ingram, Deputy Remembrancer of His Majesty’s Court of Exchequer, Richard Leach the elder and Frances his wife (2) Joseph Rogers and Samuel Rogers (3) Philip Beach Habendum - to the use of (ii) Witnesses: - Joseph Eade - Theed Pearse
